Kim Polvi is the owner and operator of Inner Vibrations Sound Healing.   Kim developed an interest in sound as a healing therapy after experiencing what she calls, “my twang”.  The “twang” was a release of energy so intense it set Kim on a journey to learn more about sound and vibration and the power both have for creating healing and change.  Kim worked in libraries for 36 years.  The last 15 years were as a medical librarian.  She specialized in providing consumers with evidence based information on complementary and alternative therapies.  Kim combines this philosophy and training with her practitioner skills in Sound Healing and Healing Touch to create her business Inner Vibrations Sound Healing.  Sign up to receive her quarterly newsletter, Kimbits,  with links to reliable information on complementary and alternative therapies.  Read a previous issue and sign up for your own copy.

Kim lives in Calgary, Alberta.  She is a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner (HTCP) and finds that Healing Touch techniques combined with the vibrations of the bowls, tuning forks or voice are a powerful combination that works together to restore harmony and balance to our energy field.  Kim is actively involved in the Healing Touch community and is currently serving a 3-year term on the Board of the Healing Touch Association of Canada.

Kim provides training through Healing Sounds workshops to both the layperson and experienced energy healers.  In partnership with her mentor, Marsha Read, Kim offers an 8 module course leading to a Certificate in Sound Healing.  She also leads Toning Circles, Crystal Bowl meditations and introductory workshops on Healing Sounds.  Kim also provides individual energy balancing sessions as well as home and office clearings.  Kim practices from the "Natural School" of Sound Healing.  Her sound tools include Tibetan and crystal bowls, tuning forks, voice (toning, chanting) drums, gongs and wind chimes.
